There are people continually ask the question is college worth the cost? Is it worth it to spend 4 to 6 years of your life, gathering information that may or may not be of use in my future career, and leaving that institution with a pile of debt?
Well, the reality is, everyday numerous students questioned the validity of their education. Should I stay in school? Should I drop out? Should I just get a job and live?
To some, it’s just not worth the cost. There was a news story last year that focused on a student who sued a University requesting a refund of the amount invested in his education. He felt that it was just not worth the cost. What you have to consider is, are your long-term goals and more important than your short term goals? The reality is, to reach some of your long-term goals you have to take small steps and focus on completing short-term challenge.
There are those who will say, there are many of people who made millions of dollars completed college. That is correct. But they had to receive some form of training somewhere. Maybe they attended college for a limited time. Maybe they went to tech school or attended a training program. Most people who made millions found partnerships (in college) that allow them to get where they are. Reality being what it is, one of the best places to form lifelong partnerships and learn what about an occupation is college.
A good college education can cost anywhere from $20,000 to $100,000 dollars per year. And the cost is not going down. It is going to continue to increase. But upon completion of that 4 to 5 to 6 years of school you’re better off academically, than you were you when you started, if you follow the right path. And if you find the right resources, you won’t have to pay for your education. But many people get frustrated and never even apply.
There are numerous ways for you to fund your education and ways for you to get money for your education.
College is worth the cost. And if you attend you will become much more than you think. So if you’re thinking about attending more than likely it’s for you.
